Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe ambulation
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes
- Manage medication reminders and schedules
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Engage in meaningful social interaction and activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Michigan CNA certification or HHA certification
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Flexibility with weekend/evening shifts
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
