Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Handle light errands such as grocery shopping.
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we provide training).
- A genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled.
