Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research for real-world applications
- Lead 10+ member research team across quantum physics, AI, and cryptography domains
- Develop patentable quantum protocols for enterprise clients
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants through NIH/DARPA proposals
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
- Maintain 99.9% quantum fidelity in experimental systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Physics from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (min. 3 papers)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction
- Proven grant-writing success ($500K+ secured)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects
