Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct advanced research on quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional prototyping of quantum hardware components
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private entities
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to mathematical rigor
