Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols to improve qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical systems
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to team R&D strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience with published papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (QASM, Quil)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
