Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist with 4-handed dentistry during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, ensuring patient safety.
- Greet patients, review medical histories, and provide educational materials on oral hygiene.
- Manage patient records and update information in our state-of-the-art EHR system.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant in California.
- Current California Dental Assistant License and valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
