Responsibilities
- Perform 4-handed dentistry and assist the dentist with chairside procedures, including amalgam and composite restorations.
- Take and develop intraoral and extraoral X-rays, ensuring high diagnostic quality and radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Manage dental records accurately and update patient charts using our advanced dental software.
- Assist with inventory management for dental supplies and materials.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license issued by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Proficiency with digital dental imaging systems and practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
