Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, assessments, and care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards at all times.
- Flexibly cover shifts in various units based on staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (or Compact License eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
