Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Assess patient needs and provide education on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Respond immediately to emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- For New Grads: Completion of an accredited nursing program and passing of NCLEX.
