Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals using advanced electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (must be maintained)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
