Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- Sterilization and OSHA compliance management
- Patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Dental software proficiency (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordination of treatment plans with dentists
- Maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient records
Qualifications
- Active DANB/CDA certification required
- 3+ years dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental imaging software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent
