Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and oncology
- Lead multidisciplinary care teams in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform diagnostic procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education for complex cases
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/PALS protocols
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Certification in specialty area (e.g., CCRN, ACLS, PALS)
- Experience with Epic EHR system and telehealth technologies
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt in high-pressure environments
- Demonstrated leadership experience in charge nurse or preceptor roles
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and PLS certifications maintained
