Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans in alignment with evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress continuously, promptly reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- National certification in a specialty area (e.g., CCRN, Med-Surg) is a plus.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a patient-centric approach.
