Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, and implement nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document all patient care services, including initial assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Computer literacy with EMR/EHR systems.
