Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to identify healthcare needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient progress, vital signs, and interventions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and coordinated care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to critical situations and emergency codes within the facility.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Soft Skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
