Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs and medical information.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home healthcare.
- Document patient care services in medical records and charts.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a plus.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred based on unit requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
