Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update patient care plans.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment outcomes accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical care situations.
- Perform routine physical exams and comprehensive health assessments.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes of patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unlicensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (BSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
