Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in trauma care situations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
