Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and families on cardiac health management
- Document patient records accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years telemetry/critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring protocols
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
