Job Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic nursing staff. As a Registered Nurse at our hospital, you will play a critical role in the recovery and well-being of our patients, working alongside a world-class team of medical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform detailed patient evaluations, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in condition to ensure immediate and appropriate interventions.
- Administer Care & Medications: Provide direct patient care, administer prescribed medications, and perform treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Develop Care Plans: Create, implement, and adjust individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs, recovery goals, and physician orders.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient management.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health conditions, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions to promote long-term wellness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting all assessments, procedures, and patient interactions.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and advanced clinical skills to stabilize patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Illinois.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and medical technology.
- Professionalism: Strong commitment to patient safety, ethics, and professional nursing standards.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
