Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with a strong emphasis on patient safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Document all patient encounters and care plans accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
