Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to critical changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, outcomes, and responses accurately and timely.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
