Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergency situations with calmness, speed, and precision.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
