Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in our 24-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals, ECGs, and lab results using advanced monitoring systems
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during high-stress situations
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development
