We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to the highest standards of medical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians according to approved nursing and medical protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, recognizing changes that may indicate medical deterioration or improvement.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document patient care services in accordance with legal standards and hospital policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing in Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
