Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Monitoring: Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and provide high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to medical emergencies and acute changes in patient status.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
