Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor patient health status in accordance with nursing standards.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blues and medical emergencies within the facility.
- Education: Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and strong critical thinking abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
