Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions, promptly escalating any changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in electronic health systems.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease prevention.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
