Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, reporting any changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility policies and safety regulations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and home care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred for specialized roles).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical equipment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required by the job duties.
