Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing standards and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and accurately document all care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure patient safety.
- Assess patient needs and educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to prevent accidents and infections.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (ICU, Med-Surg, or ER preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Willingness to adapt to various healthcare settings and high-volume environments.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and healthcare technology.
