Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in patient recovery and safety. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License issued by the state of New York.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
