Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications/treatments as prescribed.
- Assess and document patient conditions and response to care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and code blue situations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to HIPAA compliance.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
