Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Provide patient/family education on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple units
