Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) reflecting patient status and interventions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue situations and medical emergencies, demonstrating critical thinking and rapid decision-making.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care quality.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease processes, discharge planning, and preventative health measures.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Arizona.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), and excellent communication abilities.
- Professionalism: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high patient volume while maintaining a compassionate demeanor.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
