Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs and developing comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely, documenting any changes and communicating critical information to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health promotion strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure and efficiency to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BSN degree preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) considered.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
