Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, patient charts, and incident reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
