Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document all clinical activities, patient progress, and communication in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
