Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, intervening immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
