Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of physicians and RN supervisors.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with strict medical protocols and hospital standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, promptly identifying any changes that require immediate intervention.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care strategies.
- Document patient history and progress accurately and in a timely manner within electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (immediate hire candidates with strong soft skills will be considered).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
