Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient health status, documenting vital signs and symptoms accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during treatment.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in critical care situations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Perform bedside nursing duties with a focus on hygiene, comfort, and patient dignity.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New grads encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
