Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital policies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms to ensure safety and proper recovery.
- Document patient care activities, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop optimal patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively, prioritizing patient safety.
- Assist in the admission and discharge processes for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New Grats welcome).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
