Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency settings including trauma resuscitation and critical care
- Assess patient conditions, interpret diagnostic data, and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ED or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
