Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
