Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patient conditions with rapid clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient encounters with precision in Epic EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Maintain patient safety protocols and emergency response readiness
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records
- Demonstrated crisis management and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
