Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, responses to interventions, and changes in condition in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing station and environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or compact state eligibility).
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (BSN preferred, ADN acceptable).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
