Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and willingness to obtain ACLS/NIHSS within 6 months.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
