Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
