Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Health: Conduct comprehensive health assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and treatment execution under supervision.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Continuously observe and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Education: Current Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required; we welcome enthusiastic new graduates.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
