Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and clinical procedures.
