Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and behavior to report changes to the nursing staff or physician.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including wound dressing changes, catheter insertions, and medication administration under supervision.
- Document Records: Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and patient charts, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Supportive Environment: Assist patients with daily activities and emotional support to ensure their comfort and dignity during their stay.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patients until further care is available.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Compassion: Strong emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for patient advocacy and care.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
